La acutomoterapia es un método terapéutico quirúrgico microinvasivo realizado mediante el uso del acutomo -un tipo de aguja que en la punta tiene filo plano- sobre un tejido reactivo secundario a la lesión crónica del tejido blando; tiene el objetivo de resolver principalmente las alteraciones fisiopatológicas derivadas de la lesión crónica del tejido blando y con esto restablecer el equilibrio dinámico funcional del área afectada; su cobertura terapéutica es muy amplia, en este libro se registran más de 130 patologías de su principal campo de acción, es decir, donde está involucrada de manera directa o indirecta la lesión crónica del tejido blando, como son prácticamente todas las afecciones del sistema osteomuscular. Procedimiento inventado y ampliamente desarrollado por el doctor Zhu Hanzhang, la acutomomedicina es una herramienta fundamental en ortopedia, medicina física, rehabilitación, reumatología, neurología, algología y la medicina del deporte, entre otras especialidades.
